A Look Back at Sarajevo Dance Festival 2024
From November 29th to December 1st, 2024, Sarajevo became the heart of the dance world as we proudly hosted the Sarajevo Dance Festival 2024. Over the course of three incredible days, our festival brought together 1,500 dancers, 50 countries, and 100 dance clubs from all over the globe — turning Hotel Hills into a vibrant celebration of movement, rhythm, and unity.
Sarajevo Dance Festival 2024 had the distinct honor of being the host of four WDSF World Championships:
- WDSF World Championship Solo Latin Female Junior II
- WDSF World Championship Latin Youth
- WDSF World Championship Solo Latin Female Adult
- WDSF World Championship Solo Latin Female Youth
In addition to these prestigious events, we also welcomed dancers competing in a variety of WDSF Open categories, as well as in the Sarajevo Open, which featured competitions for all age groups and levels.
The competitions took place across two large dance halls, while a third hall served as a dedicated space for dancer warm-ups and preparation — ensuring every detail supported our participants’ best performance.
We are truly grateful to every dancer, coach, sponsor, and spectator who contributed their energy, passion, and dedication to making this event such a success. Hosting so many talented individuals and welcoming guests from across the world was a privilege, and we sincerely hope you enjoyed your time with us as much as we enjoyed having you here.
A special thank you goes to the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) for the trust and confidence in granting us the opportunity to organize and host such high-level international championships. It was an honor to carry the responsibility of delivering an event of this scale.
Our official festival venues — Hotel Hills and Hotel Hollywood — provided comfort and convenience for all our international guests, offering the perfect setting for this unforgettable experience.
