Sarajevo Dance Festival 2026: The World Meets Again in Sarajevo

Following the success of last year’s edition, Sarajevo Dance Festival returns in 2026, bringing another exciting weekend of world class dance to the heart of Sarajevo.

This year, we are proud to once again welcome dancers from around the world for two prestigious WDSF World Championships:

WDSF World Championship Under 21 Latin

WDSF World Championship Senior II Latin

Two World Championship titles, international couples and an unforgettable atmosphere will once again put Sarajevo on the world dance map.

But Sarajevo Dance Festival 2026 brings much more than the World Championships.

This year’s program will be expanded with a wide selection of Solo Open competitions, giving solo dancers of different age groups the opportunity to step onto the floor and be part of an international dance event.

Dance couples will also have the opportunity to compete at the WDSF Open and Sarajevo Open Championship, featuring a variety of categories for different age groups and competitive levels.

After an incredible experience last year, our goal for 2026 is to take another step forward, with an improved event experience, more opportunities to compete and even more reasons for dancers, coaches, families and dance lovers to join us in Sarajevo.

Whether you are coming to compete for a World Championship title, take part in one of our Open categories, support your dancers or simply experience the atmosphere from the audience, we look forward to welcoming you.
